We all fall into this trap sometimes, especially an entrepreneurs and business owners. It’s easy to do; the work will always be there, but the beautiful day will pass. We find plenty of ways to be a little lazy, to stop working as hard, to take a little shortcut sometimes. But before you ditch your tie for a bathing suit, think about your why.
Why are you working so hard? What motivates you? When you think about your why, you realize something very important: it’s selfish to take the day off just because you don’t want to be in the office. What about all the people relying on you, or proud of you for your hard work? What would they think if they knew you were slacking off?
When you want to take a shortcut, think about why you’re doing what you are doing. Make things happen, keep on working for your why. Get what you need to get done now, so you don’t have to worry about work piling up later and stressing you out. Keep your momentum going, you’re on your way to making big things happen.
